THE REDCLIFF TOWN CREST

Redcliff’s name originates in the elevated red shale banks of the South Saskatchewan River which borders the town to the south. Due to abundant and inexpensive natural gas reserves in the area, plus being one of the sunniest places in Canada, a flourishing greenhouse industry has grown up in and around Redcliff.
